    With a professional background in organizational management and human resources, Houssam holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Management and Human Resources and has over 23 years of experience managing HR departments across various industries and providing HR consultancy services. Despite his professional background, Houssam’s journey into the world of cigars began over 15 years ago with a fascination for Cuban cigars, sparking a quest to discover the perfect blend.

    Houssam’s passion for cigars led him to share his smoking experiences via his popular Instagram account, @Cigar_with_Style, where he blogs about his journey and interacts with fellow enthusiasts. Through his active presence on social media, Houssam established direct relationships with numerous cigar brand owners, industry leaders, and local lounges in Las Vegas.

    Recently transitioning into the role of a cigar broker, Houssam brings his expertise and industry connections to Founders Cigar Company, along with his commitment to delivering exceptional service and representing premium cigar brands. In addition to Founders Cigars, Houssam collaborates with another prominent brand, further enriching his portfolio and enhancing his ability to cater to the diverse preferences of cigar enthusiasts.

    Based in Milwaukee, Wisc., Scarver brings industry knowledge and a passion for premium cigars to his role at Founders. With over a year of experience in the brokerage business, Scarver is committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering strong relationships with local retailers and enthusiasts.

    Scarver’s extensive background includes a range of endeavors, from being a whiskey and cigar reviewer with a substantial following on Instagram to operating a charity alongside his wife, #DWYDGives, dedicated to helping underserved and neglected children and teens. He is also an experienced brand ambassador, print model, music producer, and apparel company owner.

    Founders Cigar Company (Founders) proudly welcomes Danica Baird to the Founders Family, joining the team as of November 1, 2023. Danica is an independent broker in the heartland region, covering Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

    Hailing from Kansas City, Kansas, Danica brings a wealth of experience, having retired as a Sergeant from the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office after 12 years of commendable service. Her passion for cigars led her to achieve certifications from Tobacconist University, including Cigar 101, Sommelier Tobacconist, and Retail Tobacconist. Notably, Danica holds the prestigious title of being one of only 16 certified Master Tobacconists in the United States.

    Beyond her impressive certifications, Danica is a skilled cigar roller and blender, adding a unique and artisanal touch to her expertise in the world of premium cigars.

    We are excited to announce our partnership with Cigars & Baseball, Minnesota’s Largest Cigar Party. Founders is joining the already impressive lineup of premium cigar brands at this years’ event located at CHS Field, home of the St. Paul Saints in the heart of downtown St. Paul!

    Founders will be providing our Signature Dual Wrap and our Douglass Habano for the Cigars & Baseball event. Each attendee with the Classic Registration will receive at least one Signature Dual Wrap. Additionally, each attendee with the VIP Registration will receive at least one Douglass Habano.     All of the proceeds from this event will be used to maintain Minnesota’s Miracle League fields, which are made of custom-designed, rubberized turf that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices, while helping to prevent injuries. These special fields eliminate the barriers that keep kids off the baseball field and allow them to experience the joy of America’s favorite past time—baseball!
